    Review: Share by Fun Factory

3250My experience with strap-ons is rather limited. The first time that I had the opportunity to use one, it did not go so well. Not knowing what we were doing, my partner had bought a straight double ended dildo and a faux leather harness with all sorts of buckles. Needless to say, the dildo would not stay in both of us simultaneously. The next time was better; things always are with the right tools.

Towards this end, Fun Factory has produced a double ended dildo called Share. On one end of this dildo there is a short curved bulb specifically designed for g-spot stimulation over a curve to stimulate the clitoris. The other end is straight for penetrating your partner. The Share is designed specifically for use without a harness; however as it tends to bend between the two ends, I would definitely recommend using one.

The entire Share is 9 inches. The straight end is 6.25 inches insertable with a diameter of  1 7/8 inches. The bulb end is 4.25 inches insertable with a diameter of 1.75 inches. It is made of a nice smooth flexible silicone. So is completely waterproof and easy to clean.

I had difficulty at first using the Share. I could not get the bulb up inside of me without a lot of extra lube. This really surprised me because I tend to not need a lot of lube when using toys. Once I was able to get the bulb end inserted, I knew it was definitely not going to come out anytime soon. It was completely filling. I liked how my pubic bone was nestled in the curve at the bottom; though I personally didn’t feel that it gave much clitoral stimulation. I was glad to have the Share in a decent harness, as it seemed a bit floppier than the Feeldoe that I usually use. This is caused by there being a lot of flex at the base of the bulb where it connects to the curve.

    Use with a partner:

My sub was waiting already turned on from the earlier play with restraints and a butt plug. She was wet enough to simply slip into without the need for extra lube.

She seemed to really enjoy the penetrative end of the Share. And the bulb end felt rather good thrusting against my g spot. It took me a bit to get used to thrusting without completely withdrawing; as once I withdrew completely, it was a bit more challenging to reenter. I felt that the Share was a bit difficult to control due to the flex in the curve; though as long as I used short strokes, it was fine.

    Solo use:

The Share makes a very good solo toy. I was able to not only orgasm, but squirt by inserting the straight end and using the bulb as a handle. The Share seemed very easy to control in this manner.

For me, I think that the Share by Fun Factory makes a better solo toy than one for use with a partner. But I think that if one had a lot more experience with strap-ons, they might not have had the same issues.

I have the share too. My favorite use is using to penetrate a partner by hand. The insertable bulb makes a great handle!

That has been my favorite thing about this, and other dual dildos with the bulb end, handles are severely under-appreciated in the “giving” community 🙂
