Swinger Etiquette Fail – Stolen Away For Sex

1

sexy-panties-legsWe joined a group of couples the other night to celebrate the birthday of a lifestyle friend of ours (whom Mr D gave quite a ride on the sex swing). We started out at dinner at a local pub with plans for dancing and then who knows what next.

At the table we had five couples. We sat next to a biker couple who we had chatted with online but never met, and across from the birthday couple. The two couples on the end included our Sweet Young Thing couple (see previous blogs). They were meeting the birthday girl for the first time and they brought along another couple with them, whom I will call Pushy Couple.

Throughout dinner, Pushy Couple was loudly making gestures to the Sweet Young Things that they expected them to come by their hotel room before dancing! You ARE coming, right? they asked. Our room is just across the street.

And sure enough, they disappeared for two hours before rejoining us at the dance club. In my opinion, I would call that a Swinger Party Foul. When making plans with a group for an evening, and especially for someone's birthday, it is not appropriate to loudly announce that you are taking an intermission to have sex. Don't come, or do your business discreetly before or after the celebration. Or invite everyone along even if making clear that you have already chosen your play partners. If nothing else, they should have invited the birthday girl to join in as the star of the show.

Mrs. Doubleplay is 40-something mom living in the middle of America with kids, a career, and pretty house in the suburbs. She’s active in her local church, coaches the kids’ soccer games, and happens to have a secret life as a swinger. Married to her high school sweetheart, Mr. Doubleplay, the couple dipped their toes in the lifestyle for a couple of years but then dropped off the radar to have kids. They rejoined the lifestyle in 2005 and haven’t looked back. They have been soft swap from the start but are working their way toward greater forms of adventure as we meet hot couples on lifestyle vacations, swinger clubs, and online websites.

This pretty much sounds like two couples who wanted to hook up using the birthday girl’s event as their meeting place.  Which, I agree, is a little strange, but I don’t know that its a breach of some type of swinger etiquette. I am assuming that neither couple had met the b-day girl before??  I suppose if you already know you want to hook up with a specific couple, then it probably makes more sense to just go out for drinks alone, instead of feigning interest in an event.
