Review of SpareParts HardWear’s Joque Harness

    0
By Zoe on April 30, 2013 Product Reviews, Reviews, Written

Royal Purple Joque With Box & Bag Front View.jpgSpareParts Hardwear
has always been known for its excellent harnesses. The Joque Harness has been one of our favorites since Ginger first wrote a positive review about it. It is always in use at our parties. So when SpareParts HardWear sent us the “new and improved” Joque Harness, we were skeptical. What was there to improve on?

The simplicity of the Joque remains the same. It a jockey two strap type harness; which means it looks similar to a jock strap that men wear for sports. It still has the same great fully adjustable leg straps with movable sliders and the same great belt design with Velcro and an elastic pull tab.

The O-ring on the new Joque is also the same as the previous. The O-ring is made of a stretch elastic which makes it easy to use dildos or double ended dildos of different sizes.

It is still completely machine washable (warm gentle cycle). And it still even comes with it's own storage pouch.

So what is the difference you ask?

The Joque redesigned the front pouch. It is now contoured for a better fit, made of a thinner and stronger Nylon/Spandex material, and has pockets for two bullet vibes.

One thing we had noticed about the Joque previously was that there could be a lot of additional fabric depending on the wearer and the toy used.

The new contoured design eliminates that extra bulk. The new Nylon/Spandex material is said to breathe better so that the harness can be worn for longer periods of time. This is nice if one is using it with a packer or if one simply wants to wear it in preparation of sexy time later in the day. Not only is this new fabric machine washable, but can be dried in the dryer at a low temperature! How cool is that?!

The additional pockets for bullet vibe use, allow the wearer to slip bullet vibes above and below the O-ring creating additional stimulation for both partners.

    My use.

I love the Joque Harness. It is comfortable enough and locks in place well enough that it becomes part of me. After a bit, I forget that I am even wearing it. I don’t worry about it shifting or not being able to hold a dildo, any more than a man has to worry about his cock falling off.

I like how easy it is to insert a dildo through the O-ring without having to worry about size or snaps. I tend to use it with a double ended dildo such as the Realdoe by Tantus or the Share by Fun Factory because then I can really feel that connection in fucking my partner.

The bullet vibe pockets make a great addition. Though I am not a huge fan of bullet vibes over all, but they help vibrate the dildo which is a very interesting sensation.

Well, it seems that SpareParts HardWear did it. They took an already great product (the Joque Harness) and made it excellent.
