Review: Rocket Balm and Flower Balm by Hot Pants

    0
By Marilyn on June 8, 2011 Product Reviews, Reviews, Written

From the sound of the names, Rocket Balm & Flower Balm from Hot Pants, I was expecting some rocket explosion or burst of flower power or something. Nothing like that happened when using the products, but I was expecting  more to happen than actually did. The balms both come in a 10z metal tin and the Rocket Balm has a blue rocket on the front and the Flower balm has pink flowers on it.

When you first open the Rocket Balm you get the aroma of peppermint. Normally, the minty stuff really isn't a turn on for me. So Cooper applied some of balm into his skin and said it felt and smelled very menthol-ly. He really didn't feel anything different or new. Just had a neutral effect on him. It felt a bit oily and the scent lingered for a while. The scent is great if you like the  lingering smell of pepperment, but it just wasn't doing anything for either of us. The Flower Balm has a fresh citrus scent with a hint of peppermint. It was a very calming and soothing aroma and seemed to relax me. I applied a small amount to my clit and gently rubbed it in. The oils in the balm felt very soft against my skin and never left a greasy or oily residue. It massaged into my skin throughly and went on smoothly.

At first I didn't really feel anything happening. Not until I was describing my experience so far with the balm with Cooper did I start to feel a slight tingle. I was sensing a shivery yet tender sensation as I further touched my cit. It put a smile on my face and was startled with how it was actually doing a little something for me. Normally creams, balms, oils, and lotions don't do much for me so this was a great thing.

It unfortunately only lasted a few moments, but it was exciting while it lasted. We weren't totally blown away by the Rocket Balm or Flower Balm. There wasn't much going on for us. I did enjoy the scent and the brief moment of joy I had with the Flower Balm. I don't think it was something targeted for us. It would be great for beginners trying to get a little kick to their playtime. Otherwise it just seems like a fancy lip balm.

Full Disclosure: We did not purchase this product, it was sent to us specifically for review. Our policy is to, regardless of how we acquired a product, review it fairly and openly.
