I really appreciate Ginger’s comments about having had an uninvited touch in a public play space. I had the same thing happen recently, having had a man behind me start to run his hands across my back uninvited. I had never even talked to him. Luckily, my friend saw and came over and he was intimidating enough just being near me that the other man backed off and left, but I felt very self conscious in a room full of people saying anything. I will try very hard to speak up next time and just say “No thank you!” Also, Cooper’s comment about having a unicorn along to go in and perform a rescue? Very true… much easier for me to go in and say “hey…I need you for a minute” and extricate a friend 🙂
