Disappearing Newbies – A Second Swinger Date Evaporates

swinger dave on calendar Disappearing Newbies A Second Swinger Date EvaporatesWe went out a second time with our newbies for a dinner and drinks date (Check out our first Date with Newbies). The newbies weren’t sure what they wanted to do exactly. So, this time we talked more in detail about that. I tried to raise questions they might not have thought of just to see how much talking they had done. I also suggested resources (books, websites, etc) that might help them. In the end, they still weren’t sure they wanted to swing, but they wanted to have monogamous group sex, MGS. They would make more decisions after that occurred. We assured them that we clicked so well that even nothing happening would be fine with us. Anne and I just really liked hanging out with them.

This date was again on a Sunday as it was the only time we could line things up. So, we went our separate ways. Over the next week and a half or so I talked to the Mr. to try to arrange a time to have MGS. He was trying to over complicate things. First he wanted to try to rent a place with a hot tub. I informed him that I would rather not as money was tight. From there he went to renting a hotel room. I again objected. Our place or their place would be cheaper and probably more comfortable for everyone. He was really pushing for a hotel room. I don’t know why. In the end we set a date for our place. Dinner and whatever happened which would be at most MGS.

As the two weeks pass between setting the date and the date itself pass I see the Mr. online less and less. Something then came up at the last-minute that forced Anne and I to reschedule. Since I hadn’t seem him online, I texted him and he informed me that it was not a problem to push it back a week. During that week he was not online at all. The night of the date I got a text and he informed me that the Mrs. had to work late and that they could not make it. I told him not to worry he could contact me online and we could reschedule.

After that, I never heard from them again and never saw him online.

I am not really surprised. They were new and unsure of what they wanted. However, we really clicked and had a great time with them. I am kind of sad about that, but not much is to be done. I assume it was not anything we did. The only thing that sticks out was that I objected to the hotel idea fairly firmly. But still, I chalk it up to them being new and backing out at the last second which is totally fine. It is their sex life after all. We would have loved to share that with them if it were offered. Oh well, it kind of sucked because we had very great chemistry, but there are always more people.
